IMPORTANT notice regarding access to NHS Dialog Databases from 1st April 2008

From 1st April 2008 there will be a new search interface to all electronic content purchased nationally for the NHS (i.e. all databases accessed with a NHS Athens account). This is called NLH Search 2.0. It is designed to simplify searching by ending reliance on different supplier systems to access resources such as electronic journals, e-books and databases.

IMPORTANT - SAVED SEARCHES IN DIALOG DATABASES
**Please note that if you have any saved searches on Dialog Datastar they WILL NOT be carried over to Search 2.0 once Dialog is switched off. You will need to take a copy your search to put into the new search interface.**

NLH Search 2.0 will be accessible from the National Library for Health website at: www.library.nhs.uk and also by clicking the National Library for Health link in the Resources list within MyAthens.

The new searching experience will be structured around a series of collections within the National Library for Health, including:
* Evidence
* Guidance
* Specialist Libraries
* Books, Journals and Bibliographic Databases
* Images
* For Patients

Over the next few weeks new updates on the changes in resources will be posted on this blog.
